I have worked with various populations including children/adolescents, adults, geriatric, veterans, and substance abuse populations. My theoretical orientation is eclectic with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My treatment beliefs are that different aspects of all counseling theories can be effectively used in treatment. As a licensed counselor; I apply the best and most relevant theoretical treatment approach based on your specific needs and issues. Treatments used include play therapy, DBT, REBT, TF-CBT, Rogerian therapy, Gestalt therapy, Functional Family therapy and Person Centered therapy. I also provided substance abuse treatment using the CBT model and the medical model. I am also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist providing services to both adults and adolescents.
